1. North Coast 500 - Scotland
The North Coast 500 is one of the best places in the UK to visit for all outside adventurer's dreams. This route is packed with activities to fit everyone's likes and satisfactions for your #bumbleabout. Star gazers will feel out of the world with all of the scenic viewpoints, wide open spaces, highlands and some of Scotland's best beaches. If you are water loving then kayaking, open water swimming or even spotting dolphins is on offer
2. Northumberland 250
Northumberland 250 is a 250 mile road trip over the beautiful coastline and the high hills of Northumberland. You'll drive through fishing villages, on coastlines, past castles and dark skies. A perfect place for a #bumbleabout, the drive consists of 36 coastal miles, 68 miles of borderlands, 102 miles of dark skies and 48 miles of country roads.
3. North East 250 - Scotland
The circular route of the North East 250 explores Scotland's Moray First coast spectacular mountain roads of the Cairngorms, and also takes in whiskey distilleries and castle views. Rival to the NC500, this route in much quieter and will give you a more exclusive experience to enjoy a beautiful Scottish #bumbleabout road trip
4. The Lakes 100 - Lake District
Recently awarded a UNESCO World Heritage Site status, the Lake District is England's largest National Park. Take a few days to explore the Lake District and enjoy the lakeside and hilly scenery on the 130 mile road trip loop through the breathtaking scenery. With more than 50 points of interest to visit, you'll get to experience history, art, nature, hiking, waterspouts and more. Home to 16 lakes, 4 high point mountains and over 20 towns and villages.
5. Snake Pass - Peak District
42 mile hill pass through the Derbyshire section of the Peak District. The route crosses the Pennines between Glossop and Ladybower Reservior. There is a vast area to explore in and around the Peak District with highlights including Bakewell, Chatsworth House and Ladybower Reservior. The Peak District is one of the most popular destinations for a #bumblebaout located in the heart of the UK and within a 2 hour drive from both Peterborough and Manchester.
6. Black Mountain Pass - Wales
The A4069, better known as the Black Mountain Pass was made famous by Top Gear and loved by all driving enthusiasts. The stunning Welsh scenery along the way makes this route a must for a #bumbleabout in 2019. The Black Mountain Road takes you through the Brecon Beacons National Park and to many campsites in the area for those choosing to extend their stay and explore more.
7. Atlantic Highway - South West England
The Atlantic Highway (or A39) is a stretch of road from the border of Devon right through Cornwall offering beautiful beach stops such as Bude and rich history, such as the clifftop castle at Tintagel.
